UN-150 Wire Welding Machine
Application:
UN-150 butt welding machines are easy to operate, and the lever is pressurized. They are suitable for welding bars, plates, rings, pipes and other profiles of high-low carbon steel and alloy steel. By using resistance welding or flash welding, adjusting the corresponding level and forging force, different materials and sections can be welded to achieve ideal results.

Use:
1. For UN-150 butt welding machine, the jaws are selected according to the shape of the weldment. If the weldment is a bar, the jaws can be directly configured by the welder. If the weldment is abnormal, the jaws should be customized according to the shape of the weldment.
2. Adjust the jaws: Align the two center lines of the jaws, put the two test bars in the positioning groove of the lower jaw, and observe whether the two test bars correspond neatly. If it can be aligned, the welding machine can be used; if it is not aligned, the jaws should be adjusted. When adjusting, loosen the fastening screw (12) first, then adjust the adjusting screw (14), and move the lower jaw appropriately, and then tighten the fastening screw (12) after obtaining the best position.
3. Adjust the distance between jaws according to the requirements of welding process. When the joystick is at the far left, the distance between jaws (electrodes) should be equal to the difference between the extension length and extrusion amount of weldment; when the joystick is at the far right, the distance between jaws (electrodes) should be equal to the difference between the extension length and extrusion amount of weldment; When the joystick is at the extreme right, the electrode spacing is equivalent to the protruding length of the two welders, plus 2-3mm (i.e. the original position before welding), and the distance adjustment is obtained by the adjusting screw (1). The welding ruler can help you adjust the parameters.
4. Trial welding: In order to prevent instantaneous overheating of weldments before trial welding, the adjustment stages should be increased step by step. High secondary no-load voltage must be used in flash welding. There is a lot of molten metal splashing during flash welding, and the welder must wear dark protective glasses.
When welding low carbon steel, it is best to use flash welding method. When the load duration is 20%, the section of the largest weldable steel piece is shown in the technical parameter table.
When welding nonferrous metals, resistance welding method should be adopted.
